Get It Got It Girl: Midlife, Piece by Peace
Starting from The Messy Middle
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The mic comes back on not with a script, but with a pulse. After three weeks that shook everything—sleepless nights, blurry focus, and a body that said “not yet”—we return to presence over perfection and choose truth instead of performance. This is a candid reset on what it means to rebuild from the inside out, to honor limits without shrinking purpose, and to keep moving even when confidence is quiet.
We walk through the messy middle: how to notice when your body asks for pause, why waiting to “feel ready” keeps us stuck, and where small acts of willingness create real momentum. I share the shift from performing strength to practicing honesty, and how that change reshapes creativity, work, and the way we show up online. If you’ve been carrying something heavy—starting over, holding yourself together, or trying to believe the story isn’t over—you’ll hear simple truths you can use today: you don’t need to be fully healed to move forward, and you don’t need certainty to take the next step.
This new series, Real-Time Becoming, brings you into the process as it unfolds: raw moments, reflective pauses, practical tools, and quiet clarity. Expect short, grounded episodes that meet you where you are and honor your pace. We’re building a life that doesn’t require hiding the parts still healing, a rhythm that balances purpose with rest, and a practice of courage measured one honest step at a time.

Presence Over Perfection
SPEAKER_00Today isn't about perfection, it's about presence. This is the moment I stop waiting to feel ready and start speaking from exactly where I am. I'm Tina. I help people rebuild their lives from the inside out. Not with perfection, but with truth. And right now we're working on the messy middle. So if you're just tuning in, welcome. If you're a return listener, welcome back. It's good to be back. I
Three Weeks That Shook Everything
SPEAKER_00wanted to start out by talking about the last three weeks that I went quiet quiet because they shook me to my core. There were days I generally wondered if my mission was over. Days I didn't even want to get up. Nights where I was awake until the sun came up, not because I was inspired, but because my mind wouldn't stop spinning. My body changed, my vision blurred, my energy disappeared. And the wildest part is even in the middle of all that, all I could think about was helping other people, getting my message out, making sure that women who needed me didn't feel alone. But my body said, Not yet. My spirit said sit down. And I had to face the version of myself that wasn't performing strength anymore. Those three weeks forced me to slow down, to listen, to rebuild from the inside out, and that's why I'm here now. Not as someone who has it all together, but as someone who survived a season that tried to silence me.
Starting Again Without A Script
SPEAKER_00I didn't plan to record today. I didn't feel ready, and my confidence has been pretty quiet, and my energy has been unpredictable lately. But I realized something. If I keep waiting for the perfect moment, I'll never begin again. And I don't want to build a life or a brand that requires me to hide the parts of me that are still healing. So I'm starting here in the middle, in the fog, in the truth, because becoming isn't a before and after story. It's a right now story. This podcast isn't about pretending. I have all the answers. It's not about giving you a five-step plan to fix your life. It's about walking with you through the moments that don't make make it to the Instagram. Well, some of mine do make it. I I do put myself out there when I'm vulnerable.
Conquering Small Obstacles
SPEAKER_00The days when you're exhausted, but you're still trying, like today, I I it was very hard to get up and get ready, but I had the desire to get to the studio was just bigger than anything, any little obstacle or obstacle that I had to conquer. Oh, I love the word conquer. The days when you're rebuilding your identity piece by piece, the days when you're not sure who you're becoming, but you know you can't go back. I cannot go back. I don't want to go back. I couldn't even go back if I wanted to. That person is gone. That version of me is just gone.
Truth Over Performed Strength
SPEAKER_00I want you to feel like this space is like you're sitting with a friend, someone who gets it, someone who doesn't judge your pace or your process or your pauses. Every episode is going to be short and honest and grounded. Not advice from a pedestal, but reflections from the trenches, because boy, am I in the trenches. Coming back to the mic today just feels like reclaiming a part of myself that I thought I lost. Not the version of me who pushed through everything. Not the version who performs strength, but the version who tells the truth. The truth is I'm still healing and I'm still tired. I'm still trying to figure out how to live a life that honors my limits without shrinking my purpose. And maybe you're in that place too, where you're rebuilding your life in real time without a map. If so, this space is for you. This this podcast is for you. This podcast is for us.
A Direct Word To The Listener
SPEAKER_00I want to pause and speak directly to you. If you're listening to this, you're probably carrying something heavy. Maybe you're trying to start over. Maybe you're trying to hold yourself together. Maybe you're trying to believe that your story isn't over. I want you to know something. You don't have to be fully healed to move forward. You don't have to be confident to take the next step. You just have to be willing to show up as you are. And that's enough. You're enough.
Real-Time Becoming Series
SPEAKER_00In the series, I'm going to bring you into the real-time becoming of my life: the shifts and the setbacks and the breakthroughs and the quiet moments of clarity. Some episodes will be raw, some will be reflective, others will be practical. But all of them will be honest, all of them will meet you where you are, and all of them will honor the messy middle. Thank you for being here for the very first episode of the real-time becoming. If this resonates with you, please stay with me. We're going to walk through the messy middle together, slowly, honestly, and without pretending. Until next time, keep becoming.
