Ever had your inner critic try to fire you from your own life right as you’re speaking up? That’s where we start: naming the “who are you?” voice that slips in when you talk about growth, positivity, or helping others. We get real about imposter syndrome, how it hides behind fancy standards like degrees and titles, and why lived experience is not a consolation prize—it’s a form of wisdom you earn the hard way.

We explore the line between empathy and authority after watching parents discuss the loss of a child. I don’t pretend to know that grief, and that honesty matters. Still, support can be solid without claiming expertise: saying I see you, I hear you, I’m sorry lands with more care than advice ever could. From there, we connect patterns across addictions—gambling, alcohol, drugs—and talk about the shared mechanics of compulsion, shame, and craving while honoring the differences that shape each journey.

If your mind feels like a split-screen—one side cheering, one side heckling—you’re not alone. I share the simple practice of noticing thoughts like a meditation session: label the doubt, let it pass, and return to the present. We close by choosing positivity as a strategy, not a gloss: tracking small wins, speaking truer beliefs out loud, and committing to a follow-up on abundance and self-trust. If you’ve ever questioned your right to speak, help, or heal while still learning, this conversation offers language, perspective, and permission to keep going.

If this resonated, follow the show, share it with someone who needs it, and leave a quick review so more people can find these tools. Your story and voice matter here—what truth will you choose when doubt shows up?

Okay, so after I recorded that episode on limiting beliefs, something hit me and I want to talk about it while it's still warm in my head.

There was a belief that was trying to sneak in while I was recording about talking about limiting beliefs and talking about being positive. And it was like, who are you? Who are you? What do you know? You're not a professional, you don't have your degree. Something like I was lacking something. And it was like almost taunting me. And that was just strange. Sometimes it feels a little crazy. So I just wanted to share that so far with you. Like, have you ever had those moments?

I was afraid to even admit this in this little bonus episode, but this is more about the raw cut, like the deep, deep, deep stuff. The things you don't want to say out loud because you know in your mind they sound like weird. So there's still that imposter syndrome, and there's still that you don't have this, you don't have that. And then I have to tell myself, I have this and I have that. I have knowledge. Just because I don't have the paper or the degree, doesn't mean I don't have lived experiences that to me, if you haven't lived something, like yes, you can empathize with people, but you can't really truly know. And that's something I learned the other night. I was watching some videos about people that lost a child. Thank God I do not know that, what it feels like. And they said, you cannot tell them when to stop, you cannot tell them how it feels. And it hit me. I can't. I have not had experience. Thank God. But I can still say I support you, I hear you, I see you. I'm sorry that happened. So there's a different thing that you can be, you can still support people. So I'm not saying that. And then I was like, well, addictions. I I did struggle with a gambling addiction. And then I'm like, well, who are you to say anything about somebody that's struggling with a drinking problem or a drug problem? And I'm like, I feel like all addictions have the same kind of components, even though they're a little bit different. So it's definitely a very interesting thought process when you're saying something, but in your mind, something else is saying something else. I was kind of taught that was crazy, but I guess that's just reality. So I was just checking in, like you guys, have you ever had that where you're you're saying, okay, I'm gonna be positive, you're being positive, and then something creeps in that little self-doubt. And when it creeps in, you can just see it. Okay, yep, mm-hmm, whatever. It's almost like if you meditate, you are to you'll have the thoughts, you listen and you let them pass. Like, you know, it's almost like getting a comment from somebody who doesn't mean well, or they're unhealthy, and they're like, Why, why would you do that? You can't do that, you can't even do this, and I think that's where that comes from. The self-doubt. So, yeah, next week I am going to do more positive thinking, talking, abundance thing, that that type of episode. Since I've switched to more of that positivity, it's helping I do feel better. So I want to do that self-doubt, and I'll do a little episode next week on that. So thank you for joining me with this little bonus edition. And as always, I'm Tina. I can be your transformational coach or emotional intelligence strategist. And most of all, I'm here to sit with you and be with you, and you're not alone, and I will support you. Thank you, and you have a great week. Thank you. Get it, got it, girl.
